Nothing can quite compare to the enormity of the project you see on this page. This car came to us nearly six years ago, hardly running. The awful PRV V-6 engine had already been replaced with a B21 four cylinder running K-Jet injection . The silver body had been painted white. Not a bad specimen of the 262c, but far from original, and still needing much work. Front seats were a mess, trim missing--but it did have a nice black vinyl top! Our plan? Upgrade it to turbo power, and find a dedicated new owner. Follow along for the trip.
After nearly four years, this is the Bertone finished. Complete color change to Avalon blue, which is a factory color.
Commando bumpers, on all cars prior to '83.
AM/FM/Nav/Satellite stereo. This was a huge endeavor as the lower dash cubby just is not set up to take such a large unit.
